How it works:
RObust 4000 direct flow reverse osmosis filter provides advanced water purification, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Here’s how the system operates:
Pre-filtration:
– Tap water first undergoes initial treatment through sediment and carbon filters to remove mechanical impurities, chlorine, and organic substances.
– Membrane filtration (Ecosoft RO Elements):
– Water is then pushed through two semi-permeable reverse osmosis membranes. These membranes remove up to 99.8% of dissolved impurities, including viruses and bacteria. The membrane pores are 200 times smaller than viruses and 4000 times smaller than bacteria, ensuring superior purification.
– The membranes divide the water into two streams:
– Permeate: Pure, filtered water suitable for use.
– Concentrate: Water with a high concentration of impurities, which is flushed to the drain.

Water-saving function:
The built-in water-saving feature increases the production of purified water compared to earlier models, reducing waste.

Service:
RObust 4000 direct flow reverse osmosis filter is designed for cold tap water only.

Pre-filtration cartridge:
Replace after filtering 15,000 liters or at least every 3 months. Delayed replacement may damage the membrane.

Reverse osmosis membranes:
Replace after filtering 70,000 liters or at least once per year if filtration speed decreases.

Downtime maintenance:
If unused for over 2 weeks, disinfect before resuming use (procedure in the user manual).
